iPill emergency contraceptive pill. i-pill is an Energency Contraceptive Pill. It can prevent an unplanned pregnancy that may occur due to unprotected sex or failure of a contraceptive (birth control) method. It is not an abortion pill and does not work if you are already pregnant. i-pill needs to be taken as soon as possible but not later than 72 hours after unprotected sex.
